Nilsy
This draft profile covers how Nilsy tested early ideas and helped decide what made sense to a kid. It will remain provisional until she approves it.

A kid’s point of view
The starting point was a small number of useful jobs to finish. The adult version would not hold a child’s attention, so Nilsy helped change it.
She helped shape how Brave Powers should look, what felt rewarding and what made sense to a kid.
The work was hers
Brave Powers did not do the work for Nilsy. She checked her own progress and kept going when the work was difficult.
The app helped make her effort visible, but the effort was hers.
Leadership and helping out
Nilsy has taken on leadership roles and volunteers in her community. We keep the organisations and other identifying details private.
That willingness to help, speak up and take responsibility is part of what she brought to Brave Powers from the beginning.
What we learned
Brave Powers is built around children having a say in the plan. It records missed days without shame and gives families a way to start again.
This draft will stay provisional until Nilsy approves a version in her own words.
